as some of you know, i installed this lift back in november. it works great. wasnt a pain to put in or anything. for the price, ya cant beat it. On the main forum page i have a thread with a video from rough country about this lift.
Ride: pretty good-doesnt feel too different from stock-i would say the progressive coils do exactly what they claim-the closer spaced coils at the top absorb on road bumps and cracks, while the larger ones towards the middle to bottom absorb the offroad bumps etc.
offroad: ive been out 3 times since i got the lift and i truly love it. if i had some more $$ for 32s id of gone with a bigger lift but this one really works well. 2.5"s and 31s will get u through most trails anyway-go bigger if ya wanna rock crawl.
Note: the kit comes with a t-case drop kit- i DID NOT lower mine as it didnt tremble or vibrate when i drove it off after installing the lift. id play it by ear-if ur rig vibrates after the install, lower the t-case, if not u prob can drive on it..ive been drivin on it as is and have wheeled it and i havent had a problem. though it wont shift (sometimes) into 4hi if im on an incline-i am not sure if this is at all related to not lowering the t-case...it still engages 4hi if i do it in neutral.
i have pics posted on the offroad pics page of the forum of me using the lift. the flex as u will see is pretty decent.
its just been through a CT winter full of salt and sand-when the weather finally clears up ill be able to give it a nice thorough check to see how well the lift components have held up to the salt and sand.
this is a video of my jeep with the lift so u can see what it looks like sittin on 31s
