Mate an NSG-370 (6-spd) to 2.5L?
« on: May 09, 2009, 11:44:45 PM »
Has anyone done, or even considered, mating an '05 or '06 6-spd (NSG-370) to the 2.5L? (Y2K)

It's a sweet little transmission and since I'm in the process of TB/cam/Banks/Flowmaster upgrade this is the perfect time to do it?

Thoughts?

(Jeffy, I'm not sure if this should have been posted in the Mess Hall rather than here.)

The problem I see is the 2.4L as well as the 4.0L use a different bellhousing bolt pattern then the 2.5L.  I doubt anyone makes an adapter so it would be a custom job.

I assumed there would be a need for an adapter.

I'm going to call Advance in the morning but in the meantime, I thought I'd check with the Forum members.
