Ok.  I'd like to buy a high quality MAP adjuster for my 2.5 YJ.  Various retailers want $130.  And we all know such an adjuser takes about 8 bucks worth of parts to make and can be manufactured by a competent DIYer.  I am sure I am not alone in my demand for one, at least one that costs maybe $40.

Since everybody on this site probably runs upgraded intake, exhaust kits on their 2.5s that means you probably have about 1000+ folks on this site alone, who, after being properly educated, could go for one for one of these MAP Adjuster kits.

So,  whoever has the skills at 4Banger JP, I suggest that you buy the parts, *manufacture a few thousand MAP Adjusters (start with a few) while watching ESPN, test/guarantee for quality, make this built in 4 Banger market consistently aware of them, sell through link to Ebay/PayPal.  You'll net potentially maybe $30,000 (not including the cost of your labor & handling) from this site alone  Repeat with other Jeep sites.

*(Preferably get to Bejing, set up shop in China and utilize cheaper labor and we can crank out a few thousand in a couple of days for the cost of the flight over)

Well, I could see a few problems with this.  First off it would turn from a hobby into a business.  Not everyone wasnt to bother.  Secondly, if you screw up, you could damage the PCM.  Would you be willing to pay for the cost of a new PCM if something you made damages it?

I don't really see a problem of making a handfull though.  I have the schematics but I've never bothered to buy the parts.
