Seatbelt install questions
« on: May 16, 2010, 07:48:40 PM »
Well, started installing seatbelts, then the moron bug hit me. Where the heck do i install one of the anchor points. Its not the upper roll bar point, or the clutch/reel point. Its the other one. (the part in my hand).

Im sorry the pic is sideways, but im effing tired of fixing them. I rotate them in paint when i downsize them, and then save them, and then upload to ****bucket, and its a crap shoot whether they will upload properly or sideways.  :brick:

Anyways, thanks for any help. :)

can't remember exactly how it looks over there (and i'm too lazy to go look) but from what i recall the bolt you're holding would go where you already installed the seatbelt retractor.

i'll go look and report back in a bit...

from the pic is different from what i have (the seatbelt) - anyway, the threaded hole is on the side of the tub between the roll bar and the door opening opposite to where the seat handle is - there is a reinforcing plate there, that's where the bolt goes. My seatbelt has the end you're holding on the same bracket with the retractor and it does not come off and there is only one hole where the bolt goes in but i assume should be the same in your case (I mean you can use the same bolt hole).

It bolts right next to the retractor, just forward of it.

Yup. you are all right. I figured it out just after i posted. lol Was tired and had flash burn from a long day in the shop. I installed the retractor, and it was hiding the bolt hole on the side of the tub. lol
For some reason, i didnt get any notifications. :( I will have to check into that.
