Waggy Springs?

Does anyone know how much lift waggy springs would give compared to the stock yj springs, if any? Just wonderin, thanks!

I don't have any exact measurements, but I have a friend who runs 37s on a YJ with waggy springs (SOA).  I'm not sure if he extended the shackles.  He move to West Virginia, so I don't have any way to measure the truck now.  The springs are longer that a YJ, so it flexes real well.

Yeah, I went them cuz they are supposed to flex better as well as be able to stretch my wheel base a bit. I have 2.5" lift springs on a SOA right now. So I am just wondering how tall they would be so I can plan on how much I would possibly need to extend the shackles, if any.

You should have plenty of clearance for those 35"s, sounds like you're a bit on the tall side now for that size tire.  I'd avoid shackle modifications and limit uptravel with properly adjusted bumpstops, droop is where it's at anyway.  Your rig will be more stable and the springs will last longer.

I dont want to lift my jeep any taller than it is. I just want to stretch the wheel base a bit. haha. Thanks though.

You might also consider XJ leaf springs.  They are similar in that they're offset but they aren't as long as the SJ's.

They're supposed to give you 2" of lift.
I was thinking about goin this route, but for the lift not the stretch.
Oh, and fyi you only use the fronts

XJ springs are A LOT longer than YJ springs.

so would springs from the wagoneer work as a drop in on a yj? i'm looking for cheap lift to give my 31s a little more space and a little more flex, for mild trail running. gonna wait to beast up the jeep until i have more money. and what's with the xj springs? they add any lift? how much? and do they work for both front and rear? i know they are only for the rear on the xj. not sure if leaf lengths are the same front and rear on the yj.

also not sure if i want to do just shackle lift, but i know i don't want to do any body lift, and i don't want to trim and throw on tj flares. i have a nice set of rugged ridge 7" flares that i like and they are only 3 years old. so i'm basically looking for a junkyard lift. any other cars/trucks out there that are good to pull leafs from for 2-3"?
