Correct, will not work by itself, thought maybe it'd be enough info for somebody to fab in the speed control module as well.

Very involved but not near as hilljack

it's a neat solution though, I'm thinking that will probably keep the rpm constant once activated (although cruise is speed based rather but probably part of the hack).

So we're calling hand throttles 'hilljack' now?  It's the preferred method as it's bulletproof and has been used since very early on.  Old guy's used a second choke throttle and not bike parts.

won't work, it uses the cruise control - YJ didn't have one from factory

It was a dealer install option that plugged into a connector on the firewall.
At least when I bought my YJ in 94 I thought about adding it... The 6 cyl had it more often ...

I should mention it was ridiculously priced, like 400 bucks....
I was too cheap back then... And I wanted the AC worse...

I have had my $15 bike parts all ready to go...    since June.  They'll be installed one day.
