mmmm WRX STi....  FUN DRIVE!
Actually, it's STI now.  They changed it back in 2007, I think.  I'm impressed with the WRX more so though.  They upped the HP in 2009 to 265HP and the new styling for 2011 looks great.  Now the car looks more like the STI then the Impreza.  I also like the new saloon.  The hatch was cool and was the way of the future for racing but to not make a STI sedan was a bad decision.  The US doesn't like hatches as much and die-hard subi owners weren't too keen on it either.

I still miss the gold wheels...
The gold wheels were an expensive option and only available in two colors, WRB and SWP on the GD chassis.  That color in the pic is the new Plasma Blue Pearl.  I think it was similar to a color you could get on the WRX or Impreza but not on the STI, till now.  I never really liked the 18" wheels though.  No reason to move up to them over the 17's really other then looks.  The other thing I don't like is the quad pipes.  Duals or one big single looks a lot better.

My neighbor's kid has a 2010 Evo X Limited in WW which is what I thought about getting.  It's his first car too.  Although he's got to be 18-ish now.  I don't like getting what someone else has especially if it's the same color.  Luckily, I've been looking at a RWD car.

I personally like the Evo over the STI...  The front has that pi$$ed off look, which I like a lot.  Dont know which one has the better engine, handling, accellaration or top speed (not like I care anyway).

The Evo is still more track ready but for every day driving the STI's probably better.  I think the STI looks a lot better with a front lip spoiler.  Both cars are really fat though.  That's my biggest gripe.  The Evo has better seats as well.  Well, if you're not too big.  I prefer racing seats.

Still, I think with some aftermarket parts, the STI can be as good as the EVO or better.
