what clutch are you running with

i need a new clutch agian and im not putting a new advance auto parts in it. im looinig for a little bitof a better clutch that i can more than a year.

Mine is still the stock one. I'd go with another one. Or one made by Luk. Nothing real aggressive.

160,000 and still on the stock one.

something with slipping the clutch probably cause the 1 year failure - could be some oil coming out of the input shaft seal on the transmission or maybe you burned it on some offroad runs, should last way longer than 1 year.

I'm on my stock as well.  LUK is good.  I don't see any reason to get a Centerforce.

my last clutch had a broken spring and i thing this one has a bad throw out bearing. and just wont really hold

Go with a stock replacement LUK brand clutch.

Mine probably has the oem '94 clutch that it came from the factory with.  There's some slippage, but that's been that way since '99 when I bought the jeep (actually I'm pretty sure I'm the one who caused the slippage in the first place ..Don't ask what I was doing to the thing on the solo test drive...).

I guess you do a replacement Luk or whatever, you'd want to resurface the flywheel, right?  And can't use the "weights" on the Centerforce upgrade, I guess.

I now have stock exedy replacement clutch had to some zoom performance one stay away it was crap and large waist of money... Luk is also a really good quality clutch!.

I like my exedy one.

the ZOOM PERFORMANCE  one is junk didn't last 3 months started slipping. was suppose to be some great performance one and didn't even make break in period
