Rev Limiter
« on: December 30, 2011, 11:44:53 AM »
Just read a post her that says on a 94 it should Kick in at 5400.    What I was looking for was if any one had put one in cause Mine blows right past 5500.  Have never heard the rev limiter kick in.

This is 1st and 2nd gear raps out really quick now.  If it is wet out at about 3500 the tires now break loose in 2wd on pavement, when that happens it goes to at least 5500 if not more.

i remember mine kicking in at about 5500, could have been closer to 6k but i can't tell for sure since i was not trying to over-rev it but it just happened (a couple of times) - by the time i looked the needle could have come down a bit.

It's either 5600 or 5800 RPM.  I don't remember exactly.
