Tire opinions needed

After puncturing a rear tire side wall on the latest wheeling trip, the plan is to replace both rear tires to keep it even side to side.  The objective is to get some streetable tires with better sidewalls than the BFG KMs currently on the Jeep.  The BFG KM2s and the Goodyear MT/Rs with kevlar come to mind.  Any recommendations/preferences?

I have been real happy with my KM2's. I'd buy again based on their performance.
A lot of guy's I run with run the MT/R kevlar. They seem happy too.
From what I remember the KM2 is a tad lighter than the MT/R. The sidewalls on the KM2 are stronger than the KM. The KM2 was a bit cheaper than the MT/R.

I run KM2's as well.  I replaced my MT/R's (original).  I like them a lot better then the GY's though.  Better street performance all around.  In the wet and in the dry.  No handling issues.  I'm not a fan of the looks of the kevlars though.  I can say that the KM' and KO's are well known for their thin sidewalls.  The KM2s remiedy this.  The KM2's were BFG's attempt to take over GY's reign as the best dual-purpose tire.  You don't hear too much about GY anymore.  I'll be buying them again.

Thanks for the comments.  If the KM2s have good sidewalls and are better on the street, I'll just go with those, probably more available locally too.

Finally decided to cheap out and get just one new tire.  Got the KM2.  It is an impressive tire up close.  I got to feel both sidewalls side by side (KM and KM2) and the KM2 sidewalls are noticeably thicker.  The rubber compound seems softer than on the KM so this could provide more traction too.  I also noticed that the rim protector found on the KMs is no longer there on the KM2s.  Could this make the KM2 more compatible with bead lock wheels?

Yes, mismatched on the rear axle.  Seems to handle just fine.

Got KM2's on my Yellow Jeep, noisy as hell, don't seem to stick to well either.
Sidewalls do seem to take a fair amount of abuse

Well, at least the sidewalls are better than on the KM.  Will just have to see how it does on the local rocks (mostly limestone).
