Adjustable Track Bar clearance

Im swapping out the Rough Country suspension when I get home and going with a kit from DPG off road. The kit is customizable (i won't need the body lift or control arms) and I was wondering about the adjustable track bar they provide. They use JKS in their kit and I've been hearing there are clearance issues with JKS esp if you run an aftermarket diff cover. I run a SOLID which is a bit on the large side. I've looked at other bars but i don't know if any would fit. Ironman4x4 Fab makes an adjustable, as does Currie, but the Currie one is over $300 for a bar the same thickness as JKS and Ironman. From what I understand, this is all in relation to how much lift, bumpstops the vehicle has. In my case i would be running 2.5" lift (maybe a hair over) with 1" BL (does that matter?) and extended stops. Anyone have any experience with this?

The body lift won't matter and the more lift you have, the less likely it is to hit the diff cover.  It might be better to protect the diff with a bolt on guard that covers only the bottom half instead of spending a lot more on a more expensive track bar.  Here locally, the cheap diff guard solution is to weld bars right onto the stock cover (at the edges, near the bolts).

thing is, i already have the SOLID, went with it cause it was cheap and beefy. It doesn't rub now, im just afraid that with a new bar it might. My axle is off center now, i can turn all the way to the right with no rub and when i turn left the tire bites

is your pitman arm centered with the wheel straight? what about the steering knuckle stops?

I haven't looked. Those would have changed with the suspension lift?

you can adjust it, should have gone parallel with the trackbar but maybe it wasn't centered to begin with (both points move to the left once you lift it). Did you get a drop pitman arm and a trackbar relocation bracket? those should take care of it some, use the stops and adjust the streeing if it's still an issue (to have the same angle at the wheel when full left/right).

no drop pitman and no relocation. Current kit is only an RC 2.5" kit. The DPG kit im going with is also 2.5" coupled with a 1" BL (already have the BL), it comes with adjustable track bars which i figure is perhaps needed...i just dont know if they will clear. I trust the DPG to be a more complete kit than RC, so if they dont provide drop pitman arm, perhaps i dont need it?
