What type of axel do the new libertys run? I pulled one in the shop and am going to have to replace the axel because of bent mounts. I dont know how to identify what it is.  I am not a mechanic just a body man and di=ont know what the numbers on the axel mean.

Replacing the whole axle for bent mounts?  Can't you just get the mounts fixed?  Seems like a bit of a waste if that's the case.  The rear axle will probably be a Dana 35c.  It's the most common.  I believe the optional axle is the 8.25" and the exports get a D44, I think! :nothing:

To expand the bent mounts. With leaf springs on top of axles, short spring perches are known for rounding on the edge. Best way to correct the problem, remove and replace, then box. There are direct replacement perches available on line or local truck (light, medium and OTR) suppliers. Here in KC, I use Inland Truck Parts. I did had to replace some stock rolled over perches on my Bronco's 8.8. I recall under $20 for the pair. I did box them also. You could box them in or box them in and to the axle.

Since you have the D35 and an early YJ (IIRC), the D35 should be a flange style axle and non-C-clip style. Verify this. You were previously worried about the D35 since you had the Boggers on the axles with the SOA. Has that been working out ok?
If you are still worried and can afford it now, look at swapping in a 8.8 or D44 or 8.25 from a Cherokee. Adding SOA perches is simple enough to do. Requires a little grinding to clear the surface for a good weld bead. I will suggest that you get new u-bolts and nuts when you do this.

However, just to get back on the road satisfactorily (and you have been happy with the Jeep as is), I'd suggest boxing new perches, welding them onto the axle correctly, and adding new u-bolts/nuts.
