Haven't used Autolite, but they are offering their Iridium XP plugs for $6.40 per with a 1.50 mail in rebate per plug (and will fit 2.5L YJs).  Just have to download the rebate form  http://www.autolite.com/rebate/save24.php

(Course, I was thinking of getting really serious and ordering some custom-fit, $100- a-plug, NGK race plugs that use Iridium for both the electrodes and the core!

I'm running the Iridium plugs on my Nissan.  It's a DOHC 16V speed demon.  Ran other plugs in it and that was the only thing that ran well.  (The redline is at 7500... Weeee!!)

I just did 4 plugs on the YJ.  Used NGK...
(This coupon is a day late   )

champion truck plugs are cheaper and, at least for me, run better, idle better, and last longer....

For as long as I have been working on cars for some 15 years, not professionally,  Auto Lite spark plugs have been the aftermarket Ford plug. NGK are for Japanese vehicles , and General Motors used ? I forgot, cause I never had a chevy. I have had or worked on a few fords, and had the misfortune of Japanese cars, and am looking forward to a General Motors soon.
I use the champion plugs because they were recommended by the factory and I am assuming they are the aftermarket or standard Jeep/Chrysler plugs. When and/or if I upgrade my ignition system I will use the better plugs which I do not know what they are cause I have yet to modify it.
Whenever I crossed this line I had problems with the plugs.
I have to stick with this because I learned it through trial and error.

NGK coppers are all that i used to run on my honda. I think i have champion coppers or some shit in the jeep right now (whatever my friend got me, he works at autozone), i just stick with copper. It might not last as long, but its a great conductor.
