Hi the names, Frank,  Im a True Florida Cracker. Ive always had a 4wheel drive... always Chevys. I left my roots and bought a Jeep for multiple reasons. I wanted a SUV, straight axel, and better gas mileage then my built up 350@ 10gpm.  So about three months I bought a 94 YJ and in doing so I opened the biggest can of badassness4x4ing known to man.

The YJ:
94 2.5L 30/35c ax-5 tranny only engine mods are a poweraid TB spacer and a aftermarket air intake:air raid

I just did a Rubicon Ex. SOA, with a 2" add a leaf Total lift of 7.5"
Pro Comp. ES300 shocks
CV Style Driveshft, an Slip yoke elimator
Pro Comp. sterring stab
Tossed the front trac. bar

32x11.50x15 Kumho M/T Ol' School I'am fixing to upgrade to slightly bigger tires prolly 33x12.50x15 TSL's I want to try to keep ulltimate articulation.
Stock 410's fixin to install Front an rear lockers and 4.88S to try to regain long lost 5th Gear...

What's up?! Chuck here. I have a '99 XJ, 4 door, 2WD.  Nothing special...yet! Bought it a few years back at a pretty good price.  Haven't done much to it as I was a single dad and had custody of my kids.  Got a girl now and lookin to start hookin up my ride.  Just got a glass pack put in.  Sounds good and it's got a little better throttle response.  Lookin forward to hookin' it up.

hi folks,

my name is Jay, first time poster, long time reader, i own an '89 yj 2.5l with a bit of a lift 35 inch tyres, 4.56 gears, lockers front and rear winch etc,

heres a pic,

now if your wondering about the funny plates on it, it's because i'm in the U.K. American cars are rare over here so parts and good infomation are hard to find, so i'm really liking the site,

i own a couple of other cars too (but dont hold that against me) i've a '71 international scout that i've converted to coil sprung and a ex-police '94 chevrolet caprice 9c1.

i hope we can help each other out a little on here,

cheers Jay

Hey all, just joined up.  I found the site from searching for solutions for my 2.5's ignition/fuel issues (code 52).  I have a 95 YJ with the less than stellar AX-5.  165000 so far but it may be near the end.  I'll keep searching this site before I post any questions, there's a lot of good info here.

 Hey everyone!  My name is Laura, and I have a black '99 TJ 2.5L soft top.  It was intended to be my vehicle for fun only, but lately it has become my daily driver, since my car is broke down again.  Gotta love the Jeep - it hasn't given me a moment's trouble.
