New to this forum. I have had my TJ for about 10 years. It's mostly used as a toy now, using it for a few local mud bogs, and out in the woods.

New to the forum, somewhat new to true 4wheelin. For work, I off road nearly every day.
This is my 1st Jeep, 95 unconventional “Mator”. Our rust bucket is now drying out in Arizona with its No Trespassing Sign for a floorboard. Always thought my unlocked vacuum actuated Jeep on monster shackles for a lift was an unstoppable rock crawling machine. Until Version 2.0, 3.0, 4.0…..kept happening.
Current configuration 100in wb, 5.38’s, Front GM12 bolt, differential now on driver side, sleeved, spooled, Rear GM10bolt chromoly shafts Detroit locker, 37x16.5 for the street, 40x17 Maxxis Trepador for play on steelies, 4-wheel disc, revolver shackles front & rear, SOA, SYE, Superlift leafs, shackle reversal with the front mount incorporated into bumper, Tie rod solid chromo bar stock, 2.5 with many miles. Cold air, headers, flowmaster, electric fans.
We use it for hunting, rock crawling, camping trips & of course it is my daily driver. It’s completely stable doing 70-80 but I am pushing it pretty hard & rarely in 5th gear. 5.38s are as tall as I can go. So the next step to regain a little more power is a 4:1 or Atlas. But that is a long term goal.
Next Version is to backhalf, 112in wb, 4 link, airshocks, custom fuel cell, hack up the rear floor, full cage, replace the front seats, traction bar on the front axle, lower the stance. Most of the parts have been purchased so it should become a reality. All I need is the time. My friend is a fabricator and is building some crazy near unlimited articulating joints. He has been using a set on his rock crawler buggy for a few years.

Hi all. New here from East TN! Just picked up an 89 YJ 2.5/AX5.  Body is in *excellent* condition for its age. Drivetrain? Well, let's see... Clutch squeaks, 4WD doesn't work (there's a broken posi-lock on the dash), brakes are questionable. I have work to do!

Hey everyone, thanks for the add  Just got my first Jeep. 1992 YJ that was in the mothball fleet for 4 years. Got a great deal, way cheaper than anything else I could find, and its a southern California Jeep so its virtually rust free, and not lived a life of mall crawler. Just brought her back to life and was amazed how well she ran even with the crappy gas left in the tank (yes filter will be changed one i get some good gas in her). Cant wait to get on the trails.

By day/night, I am a landscape contractor doing designs and installs. Been married for 15 years and have a fur baby. We are avid outdoors people. I am a rock climbing instructor with the Venturing program (older co-ed version of boy scouts). I'm also addicted to flying drones fpv.

Welcome all you new people.  Hope you guy's stick around.  It's been quiet here for a while.  Actually, it's pretty quiet on many of the older Jeep forums.

Not new to jeeps but returning from a few years back.  Bought an 85 CJ7 new, and have had several since.

Just got a 91 YJ, 4 banger, 5 speed. Good body & frame with no rust as far as I can tell, has a 4" (?) lift and 33x 12.50 tires.

Has some issues of course, so already pouring more into it.

Looking forward to getting it safe & roadworthy.
