Hello all.  Just joined the 4banger's...(my wife looked at me reaaal funny when she saw the sender address :D).  Married 11 years, 3 kids, too many toys....well, not quite too many yet.  I live just outside of Athens, GA (about 60 miles from Atlanta).

I have a black '92 YJ that is in good shape but in need of a little tlc in the motor department.  Its running, but not as it should.  I've looked and looked online for some answers to my questions and have found several here in the past.  Figured it was about time I joined and asked some questions directly.  My jeep is mainly a daily driver with the ability to do some mild offroading.  Some nice mountain ranger trails and such.

'Nuf said. :ppp

Hey fellow jeepers, I'm Jon, but my nickname has been big country since my first job  In any event, i drive a black '91 yj w/ the manual trans. got some 31" trxus tires, a bestop, and rugged ridge 7" flares to cover my tread. just did a carpeting and sound system overhaul, and repainted the tub, since the owner before me got a maaco $25 paint job changing the bright red jeep to a black, without getting any of the inside metal. installed an amp under the driver seat for the 4 new polk audio speakers, 2 in dash, and 2 6x9s in boxes under the angle of the roll bar. also picked up a slim box on jcwhitney to house 2 12" subs and mounted the amp to the back and it fits perfect behind the rear seat. amps are polk audio, and head unit is alpine. got a 151k miles on it and can't wait for some snow to fall here in Philly. Happy turkey day.

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. My name is James (AKA Boomer) and located in Wrightsville, PA. I have a 93 YJ that I bought bone stock 7 or 8 years ago. I have done a few mods which intell, 2" full traction shackle reversal up front with 2.5 OME springs. The rear I have 4.5 RE springs. Skidrow skidplate and front bumper. Rear bumper is a home built job that does the job well. 33" AT's for street and 33" MT on different rims for wheeling. Merc. XR7 seats with power lumbar (bolt right in), nice. Super Top from Bestop. Plans this spring: install the 8.8 sitting in the garage, 4.0 TB, and full cage for keeping my family and I safe. I married with two boys that love go wheeling. The club (Jeepsrus) I belong to and my family have gone on week long trips to Tellco and Harlen. Actully found the site while searching the 4.0 TB to my 2.5 4banger. Hope to make some friends here and find new things to do to the YJ (Betty) and be able help others.

Take it easy, Boomer

:wall: OKAY!  Just some basics.  I have a 90 yj 4 banger (11 Years), 78 cj 6 cyl. (5 years)  Tired of shifting when going uphill so I am in the process of doing an engine swap.  (Sorry Tim Not a big a--ed engine)  Really a learning curve to do one with V6 with MPFI and ECM.  May do a brief write up when it is said and done.  Brave new world!
