Woohoo, just got home with my new to me 4 banger! It has alot more power than I thought, Drove like a new car, it feels like it has more power than my 2000 mazda b2500. It's a 99 4cyl, 5 speed 8000 miles, no leaks, [ that I could see ]. Big tube chrome bumpers front and rear, and side steps. Also came with a bikini top. Body is perfect, no scratches or dents, has 31x10.5 tires and after market rims. I like it! :D

And with a bikini top, but its warm where you are at in December!!!

We're hitting a high of 69 in KC. Haven't had this type of weather in December.....I've afraid that if I pull out the garden hose to wash off the cars, it'll snow for days and freeze everything. I think in a couple of days, we'll get what the upper NW people had/are getting.

Hey Jag, I'm in KS also, further south though. Bought my Jeep yesterday, got it in Topeka. Long drive back to Winfield! But hey I was in my first Jeep :D

Cool. Glad things worked out for you. Winfield you say, eh?  Do you know about the Withcita 4wd club? They are close to you.

Now you can come out to KanRocks park for some fun. Check out the website and forum.

If you need anything smallish for your Jeep, check out the Witchita club (don't know if they have a forum or not), the BrushBeaters (http://brushbeaters.com/) and the KCJeep club (kcjeepclub.org). Then there is Expert Offroad in Topeka and 4X4Land also in Topeka for accessories. And if you feel comfortable, out of Manhattan, well more Randolf, KS there is a Army Corp of Engineers ORV called Tuttle Creek. There is a group that has generated a forum site: trailkrawlers.org.  Another cool place to wheel is Disney, OK.

Hope all this helps. If you were closer to KC, I've got a little more info on wheeling parks but they are more west and north of here.

Good Luck and let's see some pics.

Thanks for the info Jag. I drive by Offroad motor sports everyday. I work in Wichita. I need to get a new top ordered, I will stop by Offroad tommorrow, then I will post a pic, if I can remember how! Gonna go with a black top with tinted windows, [mine is khaki]. Any problems with the tinted?

None that I know of. Just make sure you have the hardware to use with the new top or that it comes with it. MTL you'll be missing the tailgate rod.

As for posting pics, simple. You'll need a website to store them, then in the menu of a message, there is the Img box. Click this, add your http, then hit it again to close it and you are done. There will be some brackets around the img. To make sure it works, Preview your message before Submitting.

If you have trouble for a website, I use photobucket.com and they have a img link already to go on every pic.
