Engine tick? Searched, but still unsure
« on: January 22, 2007, 03:09:03 PM »
I have a 1997 Wrangler SE with 68k miles, and it ticks especially when you first start it up, as the engine warms up it starts going away.  I have been told this is normal and they all do that but I was unsure so I figured I would ask.  When I did a search this is what i came up with, nothing real specific:

Thanks in advance for any help

Tis true what you were told, they all do it. My 2000 sport did it also... right off the showroom floor! But I don't own that one anymore.
