There's a show on RUSH (High Definition) that follows all of AEV's projects...just watched the one where he came up with the idea for the high fenders and hood...showed the design and manufacture process.   Finished it about 2 minutes before they had to load it onto the truck for SEMA.

For carrying a dirtbike there is a simple solution used one I made myself a long time ago
If you have a hitch or a rock crawler bumper with a receiver
you stick the hitch part in to it weld a old car bumper or a piece of channel on it so it fits the tires of your bike then make a standup to the frame  to secure the bike to it with ratchet straps and use some ratchet straps to secure the bike for and aft to the rear bumper I used to carry my quad in the bed of my truck with the shell on it and the dirt bike on the back of the truck they make bike carriers like that for street bikes also I did this about 12 years ago worked well for me me and the ex could go riding togethger was fun

Thats a good solution my bike is only a 230 *still a noob* with that setup maybe even fit the bike in my jeep the way it is hehe.

Lets see here the RE 5.5 Long Arm for a TJ is 2700$ fit 37s. The Fender kit is 2000$ most people here already run 3 or more inches so there is those 37s. Plus the Price of moddeing the back end (tearing up your shit is Priceless in my oppion)

So you save up to 700$ with the fender kit, also this way u fit 37s with a lower center of gravity. Which is idea for me since i find myself in hill climbing contests with my friends more often than not.

It looks like the hood has been shaved to mount the fenders up higher on the front which could be done on any Jeep with a little work, then the rear would just need to be cut out higher and you have 2-3 inch's of clearance!

The hood has been cut and folded about 4" higher up.  The fenders have been brought 4" BUT the inner fenders stayed the same.  It's a LOT of fab work to make a one off.
