Does anyone know if there is a disc brake system that I can get out of a junk yard that will bolt up to a TJ D44?

Explorer 8.8 brakes pretty much bolt up to both D44 and D35

Solid axle explorers with disc brakes, same ones that people swap the whole axle with. Something like 94-2000

you might want to check some ZJ's or WJ's with D35's. They should have discs.

Maybe ZJ's , but WJ's are 5 on 5 bolt pattern not 5 on 4.5

That's right the WJ went 5 on 5.
