33x10.50 and 15X8 in rims question.
« on: September 16, 2007, 06:43:45 PM »
I have a question about a tire setup. Right now i am running 15X10 Centerline rims with 33X12.50 Mickey Thompson Bajas MTX's. My Question is if i was switch to some 15X8 egle alloys with some 33X10.50 AT/KOs would i be able to get a some of my lost power back since the tire wont be as wide.

Don't think it will be noticable, but you'll be less prone to pop a bead. Even with 33x12.5's I wouldn't run a 10" wide wheel.

So the performance wont improve much :fitz: Yeah they came on the jeep when we bought it, i am kindof wanting some different rims so i was thinking about it and also maybe ditching these 7 inch wide flares i have for some rubicon ones since they are an inch wider than stock so i will have some coverage and a better look in my opinion.
