CPS on TPI?

Does anyone know if the TPI systems use a Crank Position Sensor? If so; my 700R4 conversion may have hit a snag. I can't find any reference to a CPS in the manual that I have (only covers '87 wrangler), and I don't SEE one (but there are a number of tubes and hoses running over the edge of the bellhousing that may be hiding it.)

If you need a CPS (for MPFI conversion), can you use the harmonic balancer setup that Hesco offers for the 4.0 on a 2.5?

Whoops! Sure it is. I've been specifying hardware at work for the last couple of days, and I've got TPI (Threads Per Inch) on the brain. Thanks for the correction.

To answer my own question, TBI engines use the same sort of Crank Position Sensors as MPFI engines. This is bad news for my 700R4 conversion, as it means that if the Hesco harmonic balancer CPS won't fit the 2.5, then I'm dead in the water. I'd just have to put the 700R4 under the bench until I can do the V-6 conversion. Trouble is, I'd have to swap the engines back and forth every 2 years to get thru emissions. Not impossible, I guess, particularly if you plan to do that in advance, but not something that I'd look forward to....
