I am running Bosch 19# injectors that are intended to go into a mustang, if that helps...

They work fine. Just be careful installing them. Grease up the o-rings and try not to pinch them. i had a couple leakers when I did mine.

I just got my Ford/Bosch III clipless 19lb injectors on today.   Here's to Jeffy on the tip on that one.  Great mod for the 4Banger that already has some some basic mods to it.  Was just $25 bucks and some scraped knuckles

Engine revs out to 5000 no problem now.  I took it clear up to somewhere between 5500-6000 according to the tach before the fuel flow started to cut out.

And yeah, strangely enough, the exhaust note does change slightly -- this is really neither positive or negative.  The sound throughout the RPM range seem a  bit different;  Doesn't seem as noisy between 2000-3500 RPm.  Almost like it climbs through that rev range faster so the noise typically given off in that range is lessened.

I am somewhat certain I had slightly fowled stock injector(s) for a while.  Was dealing with a low RPM stumble off idle for years.  That's seems to be absent now.
