TJ back seat question
« on: April 07, 2008, 03:01:54 PM »
has anyone taken the backseat out of their TJ and have had a hell of a time getting it back in? i just cant seem to get it back in there right. The pegs on the front seem like they should fit into the side backets but no matter which way i tilt pull or push it wont sit right.  i appologize for such a stupid question but how the hell do ya put this damn seat back in.

I slide it up....angle the right side in first...push it over as far right as it will go and then put the left side in...slide it over and lift it up to lock in.

there are two sets of pins.  THe first are the blocking pins and the second shorter ones are the ones that go into the brackets.

I think the other pins are a different width too. Also remember to keep track of the rubber bushing that goes in the bracket. I have lost one somewhere and I have a squeak with the seat installed.
