Hi guys and gals, new here to the fourm (great place by the way) new to the jeep thing also.I was just wondering if there was any online instructions of how to put a softtop on a 97 jeep tj ? mine came with no manual and i am a lot nervous trying to wing it.
Any help would greatly appreciated.

I may be mistaken, but I think the yj soft top is a bit more difficult to put on. I doubt it will give you too much trouble, just a bit more of a hassle than th tj.

I used a cordless impact driver on the torx bolts for the spreader bars at the windshield, made things easier. There's a bracket that goes between the windshield frame and the bars.

I have a good photocopy of the manual for mopar YJ top and can take some pics of it if you want it.
