trottle body spacer
« on: April 29, 2008, 10:05:38 AM »
I have a 87' yj with a 2.5l.  i've added a air intake system and i'm thinking of adding a throttle body spacer.  All i've been able to find are for 90' on up models.  Is there that much differance in the 87' to 90' throttle bodys and do you think it is help in proformance or milage?  If anyone has any advice or experience in this I would greatly appreciate it.

1990 and older 2.5l have tbi fuel injection which has a different bolt patern and bore size. so the newer mpi fuel injection throtel body spacers are different and wont work... for the tbi 2.5l engines you have to make one yourself is abuot what it boils down too.
1990 YJ 4cly, ax5, 2.5 inch BDS lift, 31 MTr\'s,  Powertrax-lockers all around, track-bars removed, boomerang shackles, warn m8000 winch, electric fan. [sold but not forgotten]
