Ok here's the deal, I'm going to be installing this Flex-a-lite fan in in my 2k 2.5l 5speed. I'm decent with DC wiring, but i want to make sure i do this right the first time. The question i have is where would the best place in this circuit be to put in a manual fan cut-off switch? should i put it between the ignition hot for the relay or between the main power and the relay for the fan? I'm using a single throw aircraft style safety switch. on with the cover down and off with the cover and switch up. Here's the wiring diagram that comes with the fan, and should list all the components.

Any help?

You gonna want to put the switch between the IGN hot and the relay; e-fans pull some serious amps, so I doubt you will find a switch that will be able to handle them, and if you do, you still would not want to run hi-amp lines in the dash...  I like to keep the current in my dash low to reduce the risk of fire if i short something out!

What he said. :) You definitely want to only run the 12v/key forward power through a switch.
