Line - X instead of carpet?
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:18:07 PM »
Has anyone done this and how much did it cost! That seems like the way to go especially for a heavy trail rig!

The carpet in my 97 TJ needs to be replaced and there are alot of kits for under $200 but a Line-X would last forever!

Thats going to happen with my 97 soon.  I have a roll cage to install and it will have bed liner on it and once I get it in.  I'm going to sell off some stuff in the garage and get the Jeep Line-X'ed, can't wait.  I put new carpet in it right after I got it but wish I hadn't its a pain when I get caught in the rain without a top.

Herculiner costs about $65 for a kit if you get it on sale.  Works great, but do it outside - the smell is unbearable.

The clowns'? Oh, yeah, the clowns. We fight them too — entire armies, spilling out of Volkswagons. We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending 'em in!

I had it done. The price is pretty good if you take the Jeep apart yourself first. I removed everything but the drivers seat and they did it for much cheaper. $300 if I remember right.

These pics are right after cleaning it out with soap and water.
