"Saddle" style stirrup for jeep
« on: July 12, 2008, 10:06:17 PM »
I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this. I had seen some stirrups that hang down from the rocker panel to step into the jeep. I can't find them and was wondering if some one else had them or seen these and would now where I could purchase them. Thanks!

All I can picture with those things is myself flat on my back outside the jeep with one foot stuck in the stirrup ;)

Hmmm, wouldn't do it.  My Wife bought herself a handle for the roll bar that she can grab while she steps on the slider.

Honestly speaking, I doubt those stirr ups will make getting into the jeep any easier.  Yes, the stirr up is lower to the ground, but it will move all over the place making balancing hard, and the possibility of falling rise exponentially...  I can hear it already...  "I've fallen, and I cant get up!"  :roflol:

:wine: I know..she will not stop! She ripped a small hole in her jeans that happen to be older than dirt! Since then she wont ride in it. The sad thing is I'm only about 4" over the stock suspension on 33's. She is going to   sh%*t when I go SOA!  :weee:

Since I did the lift, the wife makes ME carry a stepladder on the back...  And also likes it when I park next to the curb on her side!  And she is 5'9"!!!
