Also, what do you mean "newer waggy"

For teh front you can use a '84-'91 SJ Wagonneer front axle.  For the rear you'll need a '87-'91.  If you go earlier then that you'll get a Passenger side front Dana 44 and a Model 20 rear.

I did my own SOA, as well as building my own spring packs. 

The front D44 will also give you some good highsteer options, my highsteer arms are BTF and the linkage is PartsMike.

Either d44 should run you between $100 and $200.  For highsteer you need a Chevy steering knuckle for the drivers side and the pass. side is a little harder to find, but mine is off a '73 Waggy.  Have to send the Pass. side knuckle off for machining.

I read in JP Magizine the took a rear dana 44 out of a 96 passport to us and it was the same bolt pattern as the waggy axle they used in front.

Yes, either the Passport or Rodeo will work, make sure it's a D44 with disc brakes.  There were other axles available in those models, but they usually had drum brakes and removeable third members.

The widths vary over the years, so take a tape measure and find what you need.  I think late '90s are wider than early '90s.
