My engine doesnt seem to idle up at all when its cold. It dies, or runs really rough when first started til it warms up. Is thre any way to test the idle control motor, to make sure its functioning correctly? Anything else control the idle on a TBI? Even when its warmed up you still have to give it some gas to get it to start. If not it will usually start, and immediatly die, or stumble really bad. Any ideas?

Sounds like it too could be the bad TPS, I'd check again once the TPS is replaced.

I figured out the idle problem, and the problem of where I had to give it gas to get the heep to start. It was corroded contacts on the B+ Latch System Power Relay. Its located next to the battery, and the fuel pump relay sits right next to it. I popped the relay out, and cleaned the contacts. Now the jeep idles correctly. And now I can hear the idle control motor resetting the idle when the engine is shut off, like its suppose to.

Sounds like you already got it figured out, however just an fyi, There are two sensors on the Throttle Body, one is the TPS(Throttle Positioning Sensor) the other is the IAC(Idle Air Controll) the IAC is the sensor that works with the temp sensor to idle the motor up when it is cold.  When the IAC is going out it causes the exact symptoms that you are discribing. Just incase it starts to happen again thats what i would replace.

now all the problems are fixed besides the ocassional misfire. Once I get that figured out I will be set!

Misfire could be an exhaust leak.
