homemade quick discos?

anyone know how to make quick discos...it cant be too hard could it?

try a search in the forum.. someone had a thread about making them before.
1990 YJ 4cly, ax5, 2.5 inch BDS lift, 31 MTr\'s,  Powertrax-lockers all around, track-bars removed, boomerang shackles, warn m8000 winch, electric fan. [sold but not forgotten]

made them they work well...cost 7$ for 2clevis pins, 2cotter pins, and 4 grade 5 bolts works like a dream  :thumb:

Or... you could be like me and carry a tool box in your jeep with the nessicary tools to remove the stock pins..

I have heard horror stories about those home made ones failling on the highway and causing roll overs.
Basically what happens is the pins wear out and they break off...

I had them...  I just carried an extra one just in case I noticed one wearing out!!!

Really, if you wheel your rig you should be under it quite a bit checking for wear anyway.
