I made a set of rear shock mounts, hd front bumper, hd rear bumper, sway bar diconnect, front track bar disconnect, tire carrier swing, and I made a really cool winch anchor out of three peices of chain and 7 peices of steel.  I do not have a camera other wise I would post some pics.  I also made two kids but I'm never going to put pictures of the them on the internet, I am way to paranoid about the freaks that I've heard about on the internet.

I'm a cheap bastard.   :pirate:  I pillage parts where ever I can.   I try to do everything myself if I can.  Installed my own gears because I was cheap.  Salvaged my own axle for the same reason...  I did most of the rebuilding on it.  Redid the suspension so it's SOA/SUA with the help of a friend.  I've built many wire harnesses since they're really easy to make.  Rewired stuff, built brackets for other things...  Did the ghetto Lincoln MK8 Fan, 170A Alternator, FoMoCo Fuel Injectors and the 4.0L Throttle body because I was too cheap to buy the overpriced stuff on the market.

BTW: Moz IS emo.

I do what I can when I have the time. Luckily another 4 Play member owns a shop (CNC Offroad) and gives me dirt cheap labor and free rack time when he can so I rarely work on my junk at home anymore. Between that and getting parts at shop cost is the reason I have as much done as I do.

Lets see installed lift, and belly up made a rear swing out tire carrier, regeared it and installed my arb lockers made a rear diff slider, made the front bar and winch plate. Installed my 4;1 terra low, stuck a dana 44 in the rear with disk brakes made some suspension brackets for it, Installed onboard air with a 2gallon air tank tucked between the body and the belly up skid. Made my own 1" motor mount lift out of some square tubing, I guess that is it for now, Still want to make an aluminum engine and trans skid, will be a good time to try out tig welding, also need to built an improved roll cage

Really, it comes down to, 'If you gotta ask..."  Gears are probably one of the hardest things to do.  Especially when you want to get started.  There is a lot of luck that goes with it as well.  But if you take your time, it can be done.  You've also gotta have the right tools.

Setting up gears takes a bit of work and the right tools. The biggest thing is how good are you at following instructions out of a repair manual. There is a pretty good writeup floating around on pirate 4x4.
Here is a link to my jeep tinkering pictures its a jumbled mess will have to sort them some day
