Um, there is only one length that will work on the Jeep.  IIRC it's a 11" blade for your YJ, TJ's are 13".  You can't just go upgrading wipers like tires.  The arch they do is designed to work with a specific length blade.   Mounts are pretty specific to length as well.   If the blades are too long they will run off the windshield and or hit each other.

I thought 12 was small . 11" should be alot easyer on the wiper motor too.

I actually just replaced mine and I got the 12" blades.  I really cant see anything over that cause mine just misses touchin the seal (by just misses, I'm talkin within a 1/4"). Yeah nobody really carries them, but any main auto parts store should be able to get them with in a day or 2. Kind of a funny story about no one carrying them, I went in to pick up a set, and two older guys were dealin with me (musta been slow). One of them looked it up and had a weird look on his face, He said 12". The other old man looked puzzled and asked "What the hell do you have?", and insisted it was at least 13". I said a jeep wrangler and it should be 12", and he still couldnt believe it till I walked out with him and showed him. I thought it was pretty funny.

I need to change out my wipers.  They run off the top of my windshield.  but I'm not sure what size to go with.  I think that the 11" blades will still run off at the top of the window..

I'm rolling in a 1995 YJ..  I just want my wipers to clear water/mud/snow at the top of the window.  Instead of leaving a 4" x 4" patch at the top of the windows when the wiper is at 12 o'clock.  ANNOYING!

I use 12" blades on my YJ and have no issues like that.

I'll have to double check the length on my wipers.  Maybe they are to long.  but they look super short!

Your wiper arms might not be aligned properly.

Usually when I have to ask parts store employees about a 13" wiper they usually assume it's for a rear wiper.  I prefer to use Bosch Winter blades...they have a rubber boot that goes around the wiper frame and prevents the blade from ice damming...when ice gets inside the frame and causes it to get stuck or drag the ice with the blade.  I recently saw Rain-X is making blades now...they make a product called Lattitude that is curved to the windshield...but of course that won't work with Wrangler windshields.

Rain-X makes ones for YJ's but they are not the Lattitude series only Weatherbeater and Heavy-Duty series are available in 12, same for the TJ in 13.  Depending on what year your Cherokee is they make Lattitude series for it, 74-83 takes a 16 and the rest are 18.
