There's a few local jeepers here that claim success with Hydrogen Generators.

LOL - if you read it you'll see that the guy disapeared pretty quick after his method of testing was called into question.   Kids build hydrogen strippers like that in high school science they create barely enough hydrogen to keep a candle sized flame going.

Energy from the alternator and battery can be used to split the oxygen and hydrogen in water.  That much is real.  However, it takes more energy to split the water molecule than you will ever get back by burning the hydrogen (becomes water again).  Despite this unavoidable loss, a hydrogen generation scheme could still work if you use energy usually wasted by the Jeep (heat) to do the splitting.  Then the overall efficiency of the vehicle could improve.

Hadn't noticed it. May be he was assassinated by the big oil companies conspiration, or Hugo Chavez, or may be it was all a fraud.

Didn't the Mythbusters tested an hydrogen generator on an olds cutlass once?

Yes they did test it, but the attempted to run the car only off the hydrogen generator which had no chance of succeeding.

Yeah I was looking extensively into it for a while, and I would like to see a proper experiment being done by the mythbusters... I even outlined a method somewhere on JF on what exactly could be done to test it, but no one left any feedback...

For anyone who sayd u can run a car on a hydrogen convertor, they're retarded. Now if it was used to supplement your engine you can and from what i've seen a max to about 20-25% gain. I haven't actually seen anything higher. The only problem I see with them on a jeep is you need to take extra precautions with the set-up so u dont get a lot of water in the intake at one time.
