Jeep Junkyard!
« on: November 22, 2008, 05:22:56 PM »
I have seen this place in petersons and jp mag and live only a 1/2 hr away and never have been there.

Checked the website and it looks like a pretty cool place to find Jeep stuff, just wondering if any one in the SoCal area has been here before?

It's Scotty's jeep and 4x4 in Fonatna,CA

here's the website http://www.scottysjeepand4x4.com/

Let me know how it is I'll head out there the weekend after Thanksgiving and let you guy's know.

Is it really like a junk yard? So is it pricey for a junk yard?

I had 33x 12.50's they where close to the same diam . I am pretty happy with these tires takes me pretty much where I want to gobigger tires make ot a bit easier but so far I have been able to keep up with my wheeling buddies that are mostly locked front and rear and on 35's bigger tires help but are not really necesary for most trails. Going from 33's to 32's gave me 2 to 3 mpg back so its not a bad tradeoff. Since its my daily driver it helps with the gas bill. I can live with 17mpg average for city , rockcrawling and highway driving

You get up their to the counter with the part somebody located/pulled for you.  Then you get hit with the price.
