Hooray, new rear springs!
« on: November 26, 2008, 01:37:24 PM »
I've had a Rough Country 4" lift on my rig for almost 2 years now, it developed some noticeable sagging in the rear after the first year and I bought a BDS Add-a-leaf to help raise it back up. I never really persued (sp) getting warranty replacements but I knew it was possible. Last night I sent some pictures I took before/after the AAL install to a Rough Country employee on Jeepforum, he even saved me the hassle of getting my order number from where I ordered the lift. So Monday they're sending me a new set of rear springs  :smokes: I'm going to remove the AAL and install it in the new packs to keep it a 5 pack leaf w/ my hard top. I guess I can use the old set as a boat anchor or something  :twofingers:

But other than the sagging, they're really some pretty darn good springs. They flex like crazy! Great customer service, Rough Country  :thumb:

Well they stil haven't shown up

I've PM'd the dude a couple times and so far haven't gotten a reply back, even posted in a Rouch Country specific thread on the forum and haven't heard back

I guess I've got to deal with a slightly sagging ass end until I do my SOA

Boo RC service, for now. I'll post up IF I get a reply...

Well they're finally in transit! As long as UPS doesn't mess up the shipment like they usually do in my case, they'll be here Tuesday. There's three packages coming too, according to my tracking #... Wondering if they sent me a free gift or something?  :weee:

Maybe a nice ARB locker!  Hey, it's nice to dream.

As much as I'd like an ARB I doubt I'd put it in my 35  And I'm in need of ANOTHER tranny (second one to go out in like 6 months...), so if they sent me an AX-15 I'd be stoked! But again, it's nice to dream  :roflol:
