Yup that is the idea, might not be feasable but the closer to horizontal at ride height the better. I ran my lift with out a bracket at first and hated the side to side kicking, then I raised the axle end up rode much better.
Still wasn't happy though even though it was a dramatic improvement, especially offroad. Still kicked me around some also did not like the rear steer while offroading, changed the upper control arms for a trilink and got rid of the trackbar and now I am happy, the latest addition is a huge improvent, I think the suspension is ab out as good as its going to get for a short arm lift, it also gave it some anti squad and better traction going up the steep climbs
