Bed liner for floorboards?
« on: January 23, 2009, 08:46:51 PM »
I'm thinking of putting bed liner on the floorboards of my YJ.  Has anyone used the roll on Herculiner?  Does it cover very well or would I be better off to pay for a pro installation like Rinoliner, etc?

I did try the Duplicolor rattle can spray on liner on another project and just ended up with a mess.  It didn't cover very well, didn't wear worth a darn and looked like crap.

After I posted this, I found an old thread on this - - - - - -  just goes to show that one should search before posting!!!!   :brick:

Consider using this:

It's a do-it-yourself spray-on bedliner that you can get with a spray gun for $150. And it's completely tintable. Sometime this spring or in the summer I'm gonna pull the carpet, take care of some light rust and spray in a bedliner matched to the spice interior.

Herculiner is ok, but it doesn't hold up too well to UV rays over an extended period of time from my experiences.
