Congrats, you've made it into the Starving Artist club.

I don't plan on getting rich from this. But I am having a good time! Most of this stuff has been given away for B-day/Xmas gifts. I have sold a few which makes me feel pretty good. I never thought someone would pay for something I made.

Since I donated my other jumping fish I wanted one for myself.

Here is my 4th roadrunner. This was a commissioned piece.

My sister wanted a Corsair for her boyfriend. I didn't have the time or material to do one in metal. So I did a pencil/ink. The background is 3 coats of ink, which wrinkled the paper pretty bad. Next time I'll use watercolor paper. The plane is #2B-#8B.

This is for a 4x4 shop that gave me a ton of stuff. He would take any money or beverages in trade. So I thought I would make him a shop dog.

I bet he gets charged to dispose/recycle all those parts so I'm sure he's glad.

that looks awesome.

I keep looking at it and thinking something's missing (mind you i'm no near being an artist) - maybe some t-case chain pieces on the sides of the carrier opening to resemble teeth - that would make it look more mean and ready to bite

I was thinking the head would make a neat business card holder.

I didn't want him/her to have a mean junkyard dog look. A good shop dog doesn't bother the nice paying customers

Cat project for the Warden's cousin. They just got a house and wanted a cat to torture their own cat.
The mouse in the mouth moves back and forth without falling out. :naughty:

Well the next couple of weekends are booked. Are you planning on stopping by the High desert round up at Stoddard  at the end of May? I plan on being there on the Sunday of the event. I still have those 8.8 shafts for your buddy.
I am gonna run Isham on May 1st. It's a Sat. not sure it works with your schedule, but your welcome to come.

Incredible work. you really know how to take otherwise useless stuff and make something of it.

suggestion for a piece. Do a scaled down jeep using just jeep parts  :naughty:
and if you do, you definitely need to use those damn torx bolts as the wheels  :stick:nothing screams jeep part more than a torx  :brick:

Thanks  :thumb:
I have seen a Jeep made out of "found objects" it was OK. I don't think I want to give it a go. The sheetmetal work is a PITA. I was going to try build a 1940 Catapillar D7 for my Dad but I put it off until I can find the right parts for it. It might not happen.
I have used some torx bolts. I know that Bee had one in it.

This dog is for my Dad. He is coming down this Aug. to run the Dusy with me.

He has a Scottie dog. I tried to get a bit of Scottie look, but it didn't come out like I hoped.

Looks great! I really like those pinion-back legs!

During February I saw this T-Rex on the I-5 between LA and SF.

I have a couple more pics, but I don't want to flood your thread with somebody else's art.
