Turbo help
« on: July 26, 2009, 08:05:06 AM »
Another turbo question. I have a S2A Schwitzer turbo, at least I think thats the model. I want this thing in my YJ. Only thing about is it that I want it under my YJ. This seems to be my only option w/o a new manifold. I saw a kit offered for my F-150 that mounted it under the truck and one for vettes that similar. I have a friend working with me gathering parts. He's a DSM guru so this will be new to both of us. If I build a skid plate and have the intake sent up under the hood will this work? I don't do lots of offroading, mainly trail riding, but not alot of rocks in FL. Biggest goal is for highway speeds. This turbo is small and should do the trick. Mounting is my biggest problem. I'll let my buddy handle the fuel. I was sent here from my usual forum at JeepForum.com.

Go to "Members Projects" and check out my turbo thread " Sean's Turbo YJ Project & " . It is not necessary to mount the turbo underneath or change manifolds.
