Topic: 88 wrangler 2.5 lt questions

I did a swap with a buddy, now own a 88 wrangler, He blew the 2.5 lt engine up,  i have another motor . but, the one i have is serpintine belts pulleys, with missing pullys,  the motor in the 88 has fan belt pulleys,  I believe the extra motor is out of a 91 .  are the blocks ,heads the same, can i just pull the intake,exhuast, pullys off this 88 and bolt them on the 91 ?

The 2.5 block is the same. No problem. Just drop it in and change the manifolds and alternator over. The alternator itself is different so you need to use the one from the 88.
