Everything I have read say that 35's on a d35 is a bad idea, especially if you have a locker. This is exaclty why I decided to stick with 33's on my rig (and since I locked both axles, I also invested in alloy axles, and even still, I have to be carefull with the D35). You also need to consider that with the stock axle, your gearing will be less than optimal; I run 4.88's, and I still wish I could go lower even with the 33's...
