just to counteract all the people at say cj7... im going to say that i prefer older... smaller jeeps.. most of what i do is in the wood where being small and having the ability to fit in small places is a plus and being lighter helps.. and there is just something about an old jeep that is just cool.. like showing up people in there new jeeps with crazy articulation with a cj3a (well maybe not show up but do the same thing with smaller tires, less suspension, and half the power
.... (this section is about being on rocks rather than the woods.))... but it does make for a rough ride so depends what you are going to do. it should be said i have no experience with cj5s other that that they are smaller than a 7 and bigger than a flat fender... (details depend on the year)
