Stan you can hang a 35 from the stck carrier if you wanted too, now if it's the smartest thing to do remains to be seen. Them things are heavy, as long as it's snug agaings the tail gate stoppers (those rubber blocks) It might live for a while, the better solution is a carrier of the bumper or jeel the tire inside on the floor if you are not hurting for room in the back, a 35" tire will fit on the floor behind the front seats, just strap it down from the rear seat anchor points. Not the ultimate solution but it works.

Well I had my 31x10.50's on the stock carrier and I think that it was too much. It would rattle when I hit big bumps and it was pulling at the very top just above the handle.

Like Art said if ya go bigger you can lay it on the floor and  strap it down if ya have space.

personely I think it holds the tire out pretty far. I would watch your departure angle. just something I look for is how close to vehicle it will hold it.

well if it holds a 35 it will certainly hold a 32...im running 31s now but my spare is stock size. guess ill see how it holds when i upgrade to 32s. though i like how your tire carrier allows you to place the highlift on top of that..ive been looking for a place to mount my shovel...guess if i got a carrier like yours i could do that.

The tire doesn't really stick that far out compared to others.

A guy a my work has the Warn tire swing and it's sitting about the same.

i like the fact that it has the gas canisters - one thing that i am interested to hear is if it's rattling or moving back and forth, seems that the whole thing relies on the 1/2'' bolt on the hinge and the lock on the other end - post some feedback once you put some miles on it. Looks good and i really like the extra gas feature and the hi-lift jack mount.
