Safari BikiniŪ tops for Jeep Wrangler, 92-95
http://www.bestop.com/index.php?s=8

It says 92-95, what is the difference in the body as to why a 90 won't work.  I am willing to redo my rollbars, modify the top, etc... to make this fit on my jeep.  just need some ideas as to why it doesn't work currently

Two things; first off, the safary top does NOT include the cover of the cargo space.  Second, i think what you are looking for is the haft top...

The half top is enclosed and the safary top is open...

I think I may be wrong.  I went to JCwhitney and got this for my model

Half tops ARE available for '91s...  Google it up, and you will find it.  Or go directly to the bestop site.

You were right Jfrabat, I think I have to modify my seats though because the back of the headrest is behind the roll bar so it would press on the top.

I have a sealed half top, its not the Bestop brand but you dont have to modify anything to make it work

Oh that is great to hear, will order the top today. Does it snow in your area and if so how does it hold up?

Can you send me a link to the one you own?

Worst parts about the bestop halftop are the seal at the bottom of the back window will leak. I could not find a way around it nor did it really bother me much. Also the screen is on the outside of the back window and collects water when it's warm out so you cant see, and collects snow and ice when it's cold out so you can't see. Other than that I loved it. It was rally nice to be able to roll the top part up behind the front seats and use it as a tonneau and the flip top was great in spring and fall.

i like the look and i run the bikini toneau and windjammer in the summer but i have seen the half tops and the only thing i dont like is that when i do it i leave the frame folded up under the tonneau and it holds tight and sits much higher.  when i saw the half tops it was low to the tub and seemed like there wasnt much tension so i dont know if i ould like it.  can you leave the frame in there?  any pics of anybody whos got them installed on a yj?

My jeep is a 91 with the half cage not the full like the 92-95.  The top uses the soft top hardware for the front half like normal to make the door frames and then the rear arms and tension bars just push all the way forward  against the back of the door frames.

This is the best side profile one I have at the moment, I will take some better ones tomorrow when its light out
The rear tonneau part pulled decently tight when it was new but after being outside and heating and cooling with the weather it has stretched some and with the snow and rain sitting on it has also helped stretch it.  I took some fiberglass rods that are about an inch wide and maybe an 1/8th in thick, from some of the temporary men working signs i had that you use to hold the sign open and drilled the rivet out and spread it across the back area to keep the top  arched up so the water ran off instead of pooling in the center

It has sat outside all winter long in the rain and snow and I didnt have any moisture what so ever inside the cab that I ever found

Edit:
The top is made by Rampage I believe it was, I believe the picture that Felipe posted is the one by the same company for the 92-95 jeeps.  I got mine from windrock offroad but I dont see it on the site anymore but found one like it here on telico 4x4 for $184 which is what i think i paid for mine
