Bad...bought a nib cj lift before I new there was a difference, still on it and wheeling with little articulation
What are you running up front? CJ-7's have 2" leafs up front and 2.5" in the rear.
I thought of another bad:
- 3" Double Tube Rear Bumpers
- 3" Double Tube Front Bumpers
I had a huge front bumper which probably weighed in around 50lbs by itself. The problem was that is stuck out 8" if you measure from the back to the front. The upright plates brought 2.5" tube forward that protected the headlights. This bumper was very 80/early 90's. Problem was that the mount was 4 little tabs welded only on one side so they could bend easily if you hit anything hard. First thing I did when I moved back to CA was remove it then sold it.
The rear bumpers were also very 90's. The main problem with them is that you've left with two mounting positions. One up and one down. The up position was too far up if you have a full-size spare. The down position cleared but put a lot of leverage on the hangers. When, say a car rear-ends you, the bumper tucks under the crossmember and the hangers pull the crossmember down. The other problem was if you have teh receiver hitch, it's really low so if you climb anything, you'll probably end up dragging it. I sold 2 sets (took me two to learn
) This is also the reason why I don't have a rear bumper. I haven't really decided on what I want to have.
