we either have chicken-bakes on the manifolds or hotdogs.. i found the chicken bakes are perfect size to set on top on the radiator and the hood comes down and holds them in place without totally smashing them. so 2 on the radiator, one on intake manifold against the head and one goes in-between the power steering pump bracket and the engine / exhaust manifold. flip / rotate spots after 15-20 minutes. then when you start to smell burning chicken bake find a place to eat and wala nice hot chicken bake. the burning smell will come form the one that directly touches exhaust manifold and it will only-be slightly burnt, with burnt portion easy to remove....

this is all with tbi, for mpfi the intake manifold wont be as warm and your ps pump is totally different. but considering how hot everything under the hood gets at low speed they should eventually cook just about anywhere.
the Flathead 4 go-devil motor is preferable as it has more surface area where you an cook stuff.
pringles are relay good for on the trial as the can prevents crushing. we usually fill the can with other chips after the first day...
