I'll second Art here; if you want to keep your Jeep's good road manners, forget about the Detroit. They are VERY reliable, and pretty much bullet proof, but they also have some odd road manners which you need to get used to. in my opinion, they do not pass the Valet Parking test (as in would you trust your Jeep to a valet considering the on-road manners). ARB's are a ton of dough, but there's a reason for that.
And yes, you CAN get stuck with ARB's, but if you do, no other locker would have helped. In my opinion, it's all between ARB and Ox, and I prefer ARB because you dont have to fool around with the cable (if the cable is not set properly, the locker will not engage). With ARB's the only possible issue you would have is if you break a line, and there are quick connectors that are not expensive (I have about 10 of them in my Jeep just in case, but have never needed them) that you just cut the line, plug both ends in the quick connector, and call it good...
