To me, the main issue with Bio Fuels is that today we dont have enough food to feed everyone in the planet.  Ad a couple million "hungry" cars into the mix, and that means less food for a lot of the poor people of the world, and it's not like the farmlands are growing...

I can't imagine what will happen if everything runs dry and there's not much oil to be found...
I just hope that there will be dependable alternatives when that moment comes...

Canada right now has more oil in supply than has been used in Human history.
Their government is waiting for the Middle east to get too expensive then BAM!
CA is the new oil power...

When you fly over the northern provinces you see NG and Crude pipelines and
wells to the horizon. The amount of oil that can be side drilled from shore under
the arctic ocean is insane...

Another fun fact, the New your times has had a report that we were going to
run out of oil at least once a year since the paper was founded,,, September 18, 1851

There is significant evidence that oil is constantly replenishing itself as well, and in many
cases faster than anybody thought, another reason "dry" wells are being pumped again.
They are fooling with pumping water and some algea into old wells and it starts the
process up again as well.

I love this topic, it feeds my conspiracy theory facinations and yet you find too much truth in it...  :pot:

The problems really isn't running out but actually getting to the majority of the oil.  Russia has a lot of oil that's untouched.  Kinda hard to go get oil in Siberia with no infrastructure at all.  I don't doubt old wells are refilling as the oil they can't get to seeps into existing wells.

I'm still waiting for a Mr. Fusion so I can throw banana peals and beer cans into it.   :uhoh:

By the time they have Mr Fusion, I hope they have Mr Beertap to refill my empty beer cans from elements pulled from the air.
